WHAT TIME IS GOLDEN HOUR FOR UK WEDDINGS?

Golden hour is one of the most talked about parts of wedding photography — and for good reason.

It’s when you get that soft, warm, flattering light that makes everything look incredible.

What Time is Golden Hour in the UK?

Golden hour happens just before sunset, and the exact time changes depending on the season.

Rough guide:

  • Spring (March–May): 6:30pm – 8:30pm

  • Summer (June–August): 8:00pm – 9:30pm

  • Autumn (Sept–Nov): 4:30pm – 6:30pm

  • Winter (Dec–Feb): 2:30pm – 4:00pm

  • grab you at the right time

  • keep it quick and relaxed
